DUNA sidecar, 1964

After several attempts, in 1959 the Hungarian Ship & Crane Factory was ready to produce their OK-3 sidecar for PANNÓNIA motorcycles.
While the sidecar body (an aluminium pressing) was fully sprung with laminated springs (originally shock absorption design), the DUNA sidecar wheel had neither an independent brake or suspension unit.
The back of the passenger seat had to be removed to gain access to the luggage space. The PANNÓNIA cycle frame was found ideal for sidecar use, and a total of 80 thousand of these popular sidecars were evenetually produced.
