The DANUVIA DV-125 was also a very popular model, and was produced in the second largest number of motorcycles in Hungary.

Following a change of primary drive, engine output increased to 5.5 horsepower, and a maximum speed of 85 km/h was made possible. The rear wheel adopted a swinging arm type suspension, and the saddle was large enough to carry a passenger as well. The model proved to be entirely suitable for the requirements of the period.
Unfortunately, economic difficulties resulted in quality control problems, and while the domestic market remained very strong, the model only had a limited export market. During a 12-year production period, a total of 157 thousand of these lightweight models were eventually sold.
